This Privacy Policy explains how Pixby Media AB handles information when you use Sun AR and the Sun AR website.

Information handled by Sun AR
Location
Sun AR uses location to calculate sun position, sunrise, sunset, daylight duration, map previews, widgets, and solar notifications. Location permission is requested by iOS and can be changed in Settings.
The app may store recent location information on your device or in the app group shared with Sun AR widgets so those features can continue to work. We do not sell location data.
Camera and augmented reality
Sun AR uses the camera and ARKit to show the sun path in augmented reality. Camera frames are used for the live AR experience on your device. We do not receive or store camera images unless you choose to send us a screenshot or other material for support.
Notifications
If you enable solar notifications, Sun AR stores the notification settings, event type, location, and timing needed to schedule those notifications on your device.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases, subscriptions, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. Sun AR uses RevenueCat to help validate purchase status, restore purchases, and unlock premium features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Analytics
Sun AR may use analytics tools, including Mixpanel and Vercel Analytics, to understand app usage, purchase flow performance, crashes, page views, and feature adoption. Analytics may include device and app information, coarse usage events, referral information, and a generated app identifier. We use this to improve Sun AR and diagnose issues.
Support messages
If you contact us for support, feedback, or questions, we may receive your email address and the information you choose to include in the message.
Website data
When you visit the Sun AR website, your browser automatically sends technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited. We use this information for site operation, security, analytics, and improving the website.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website and analytics providers may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences, measure visits, and understand traffic. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide Sun AR features such as sun calculations, AR, widgets, notifications, and purchase access.
- Maintain and improve the app and website.
- Respond to support requests.
- Detect, prevent, and fix bugs, abuse, fraud, or security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate Sun AR, including Apple, RevenueCat, Mixpanel, Vercel, hosting providers, analytics providers, and email/support providers.
These providers process information only for the purposes described above and according to their own terms and privacy policies.
International processing
Pixby Media AB is based in Sweden. Our service providers may process information in Sweden, the European Union, the United States, and other countries where they operate.
Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Information stored locally on your device can usually be removed by deleting the app or changing app settings.
Your choices
You can:
- Change location, camera, notification, and other permissions in iOS Settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Restore purchases from within the app.
- Contact us to ask privacy questions or request deletion of support correspondence we control.
Children's privacy
Sun AR is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Sun AR changes or as legal requirements evolve. The latest version will be posted on this page.
